Etymology of word Rhetoric

Rhetoric is a Greek word (Ρητορική – rhitorike). Originates from Greek word Ρήτωρ – Rhetor (Ρήτορας in Modern Greek) which is someone that speaks in public. Aristotle was the first to write a book with this name “Rhetoric” that gives advice how to think and answer usual question if you are going to run for an office ( or simply if you are interested in commons).
Because of this book many have accused Aristotle as and sophist.
